Raising children can be a challenge.

So many questions – which one is the right answer?

Is there THE right answer?

Probably there are as many answers as there are doubts.

I‘m here to help you find the most suitable solutions to your topic.

  • Why is your baby crying? What can help to sooth him?
  • Your little sweatheart doesn‘t like to be on the tummy – but tummy time is very important to reach the next developmental milestones. So what can be done for him to enjoy this position?
  • Your baby is frustrated because he can not move around to get things? Maybe he is creeping backwards – what doesn‘t help him reach his point of interest. In a First-Step lesson you‘ll find out what the reason is. And you and your baby will learn what it takes to go forward and reach his goal.

Did you ever think about the connection between balance and fear?

Sure – most of us don‘t like the idea of crossing a canyon on a wooden bar without a leach.

But did you know that your baby might be afraid of rolling because a lack of balance?

Almost all people walk sooner or later. But the children with a poor balance system are the ones who avoid running around with their peers. The stay on the safe side – close to the wall. They hold the pen for writing in a clumpsy way and bite their tong when it comes to drawing and other fine motor skills. The First-Step method supports you to bring up your child with a stable vestibular system – free from fear. Ready for life.

About me:Heike new

I‘m living with my husband and my 12 year old son in Sigriswil. I spent my whole childhood and teenage years in a sports club and I have been working voluntarily for more than 25 years as a sports teacher. The healthy development of children is my matter of the heart. With the First-Step method I‘m able to support children from birth on to have a life full of joyful movement. Better motoric skills result in better cognitive skills. Everything you learn correctly from the very beginning doesn‘t have to be adjusted later on. That is so much easier and makes so much sense.

The First-Step method has a holistic approach which works with all nervous sytems and all senses. It is based on the Feldenkrais method. If you want to learn more about Feldenkrais click here

I‘m offering private lessons and workshops in English and German.
